2/23/2012

The Felician College Student Chapter of the National Association of Women MBAs is hosting an event to celebrate and empower female business professionals on Monday, March 12, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room on Felician's Rutherford Campus, 223 Montross Avenue.

The event, in which Sister Gloria Perez, Senior Advisor for Mission of Eva's Village will be honored, will feature keynote speaker Molly Sargent, Founder and President of Professional Impressions Consulting.

Sargent will address how women graduates can differentiate themselves in a competitive job market through careful attention to professional image, business etiquette, technology savvy and executive presence in order to win jobs and launch successful careers. She will answer important questions such as: What can you do to differentiate yourself in a competitive job market and launch a successful career? Do you have a personal and professional brand? How do you make a professional first impression? What can you do to empower other women?

The evening is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. Please RSVP by calling Patricia McTaggart at 201-559-3569 or mctaggartp@felician.edu.

Attendees are encouraged to bring gently-used professional women,s clothing and accessories as a donation. The clothing will be delivered to Eva,s Village in Paterson, NJ. The non-profit,s programs include the Hope Residence for Mothers and Children where mothers are able to be treated for addiction without relinquishing custody of their children.
