The following degree and certificate programs prepare nurses to assume leadership
roles within the global society of professional nursing and health care.
The nursing programs are fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate
Nursing Education and the New Jersey State Board of Nursing. The School
Nurse/Teacher of Health Education Certificate Program is approved by the
State of New Jersey Department of Education. |

| BSN Degree - High School Seniors and Transfer Students |
| The Traditional Four Year BSN Program provides students with a broad
education grounded in the liberal arts, sciences, nursing theory and practice.
You will begin your nursing sequence in the freshman year. As a nursing
major, you will apply your nursing knowledge in a variety of laboratory
and health care facilities under the guidance of qualified faculty. The
curriculum culminates with a Clinical Residency in your senior year. Graduates
of the program are eligible to apply to the State Board of Nursing to take
the RN-NCLEX examination and qualify for admission to graduate study.

| Accelerated Bachelor’s to BSN Degree for Adults with Non Nursing
Bachelor's Degree |
| The Bachelor's to BSN Degree in Nursing Program is designed for adults
who have a non-nursing bachelor’s degree, are seeking a career in nursing
and have demonstrated the ability to complete an accelerated course of nursing
study full time. The 18 month cohort based nursing sequence includes 72
credits of nursing core courses. Prior to enrolling in the nursing sequence,
students must have completed all required prerequisite course work. With
the exception of an accelerated schedule, all course and clinical requirements
are identical to the traditional pre-licensure program. Nursing courses
run in 12 week blocks including summers. Graduates of the program are eligible
to apply to the State Board of Nursing to take the RN-NCLEX examination
and qualify for admission to graduate study. |

RN-BSN Fast Track program (for RN's seeking a BSN)
|
| Building on your education, Felician offers a program for RN's seeking
to increase their leadership role in nursing by earning a BSN Degree. The
cohort-based RN-BSN Fast Track is designed for working nurses who seek to
complete the program in 19-months. This innovative program combines in-class
courses with independent study and online course work. You will earn six
graduate credits and students with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 are automatically
accepted into Felician College’s MSN program. Graduates of the BSN program
qualify for admission to graduate study. |

| Master of Science Degree in Nursing: Education - Hybrid
delivery, plus clinical and practicum hours |
| The 42 credit Education track curriculum prepares registered nurses
with a BSN from a professionally accredited academic institution, to assume
roles as faculty in higher education, educators in health care organizations,
educators in continuing education settings, and patient, family and community
educators. |

| The Education track curriculum features nine professional core courses
(25 credits) which are based on, and are in full compliance with, the AACN
Essentials of Master's Education in Nursing and five courses (17 credits)
in advanced study in education. The program is designed to build on your
clinical expertise and provide a practicum experience as a nurse educator.
Completion of the program requirements is possible in just over two years.
A Master of Science in Nursing Degree is awarded after successful completion
of the program. Graduates of the program are prepared to pursue doctoral
study and are eligible to apply for national certification. |

| Master of Science Degree in Nursing: Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner

| Advanced Practice Nurses are in the forefront of making some of the
biggest strides in improving health behavior today. For RN’s with a BSN
Degree who are looking to advance their career as a primary care Advanced
Practice Nurse with prescriptive practice, Felician offers the theoretical
content of the Adult and Family Nurse Practitioner MSN tracks online. Clinical
hours are completed in 5 designated courses in addition to the online content.
You work under the guidance of qualified faculty, to select clinical preceptors
and clinical practicum sites which meet the program objectives. You can
complete the program in as little as 2 years. Program graduates are eligible
to apply for national certification from the American Nurses' Credentialing
Center (ANCC), State Board of Nursing licensure as an APN and for admission
to doctoral study. |

| This 36-credit cohort based program had been designed to address the
skills and competencies required of today’s Nurse Executive. The program
offers project-based learning which incorporates experiential learning into
the student's academic experience. The program is in full compliance with
the AACN Essentials of Master’s Education in Nursing graduate curriculum
content. Additionally, the program has been structured for the student to
be proficient in the AONE Nurse Executive Competencies. The hybrid learning
format is a blend of a traditional classroom with distance learning. A Master
of Science in Nursing Degree is awarded after successful completion of the
program. Graduates of the program are prepared to pursue doctoral study
and are eligible to apply for national certification. |

The online Post Master's Certificate in Adult Nurse or Family

practice. Clinical learning experiences are conducted face-to-face in the
clinical site and are in addition to online instruction. You work with faculty
to identify a clinical site location and preceptor which must be approved
prior to enrolling in clinical courses. You can complete the program in
2 years. Following program completion, you are eligible to apply for national
certification from the American Nurses' Credentialing Center (ANCC) and
State Board of Nursing licensure as an APN.

The on campus, hybrid delivered,
Post Master's Certificate in Executive
Leadership curriculum is designed to provide a nurse with a Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited academic institution to assume the roles as a Nurse Executive in a healthcare organization. The applicant must have completed coursework in graduate nursing research. The required credits are determined on an individual basis after evaluation of prior transcript. The minimum requirement includes courses within the Executive
Leadership track.

The School Nurse and Teacher of Health Education Post Baccalaureate
Certificate Program is for RN’s with a bachelor’s degree who seek to
earn state requirements for School Nurse and Teacher of Health Education
certification in grades K-12. With the guidance of qualified faculty, you
will select your school practicum site. Classes are offered in the evening;
however the practicum experience is during the day when school is in session.
The program can be completed in either two or four semesters. Graduates
of the program are eligible to apply to the New Jersey State Department
of Education for certification.
